Have You Missed The Boat – Which Boat ?

MISSED THE BOAT

In life, it should be obvious that we are not all in the same boat.

In your life, perhaps sometimes you think that you have missed the boat.

Let us hope that is true, that you did miss that boat.

The boat that you think you have missed is a boat that you should never have been on in the first place, and, that boat was never yours anyway.

There are 3 boats:

  1. The boat that blindly, automatically sails on the seas of the world that has been created out there.
  2. The boat that sails after that part of the physical and material world that you are attracted to, based on who you think you are.
  3. The boat that sails along calmly and peacefully with the flow of the water that you create, the conscious, aware, thinking you.

We are all in this together – partly: the same planet, air, earth, sometimes environment, and other physical things.

Your unique boat

But every single one of us is in, or should be in, a very different and unique boat. If you have feelings that you may have missed the boat, then you should be pleased, because you would have been boarding the wrong boat. You have misunderstood which boat you should be in.

The boat that you should be in, is built of material based solely upon knowing precisely who you are. Not boat no.1 above, that’s what the world and society have created. Not boat no. 2 above, that person is who you have become. The correct boat that you should be in will then sail along with the flow that you create with your thinking, your new mental state.

Many people spend a lot of their time looking at other people’s boats that are drifting, rowing, sailing, steaming, and speeding past, and very often try to jump into one or other of those boats. Do you actually ever keep your eyes in your own boat? What is it made of, how big, how is it being powered and steered, is it really your boat or is it something that was built for you, or that you were guided, directed, and told to create?

You are needed in your boat

The world, and the people of the world, need you to build boat no. 3 and to push off from the jetty and get going. When you do, and more and more people recognise all the no. 3 boats out there with them, they will discover something amazing – then they will see that we are actually all in the same boat, because it is this mental construct that has created all the no. 3 boats that is one, the “one” that we all are, peaceful, calm, compassionate, and kind.

Here are some interesting lyrics from a song (I’ve omitted a few bits here and there); it’s got a nice beat; it’s sounds fun … I’ll leave you to find out its name, it should be easy.

I was knocking on your ear’s door
But you were always out
Looking towards the future
Begging for the past
We knew we had the good things
But those never seemed to last

Everyone’s unhappy
Everyone’s ashamed
We all just got caught looking
At somebody else’s page

Our ideas held no water
But we used them like a dam

Of course everyone goes crazy
Over such and such and such
We made ourselves a pillar
We just used it as a crutch

We were certainly uncertain
At least, I’m pretty sure I am
We didn’t need the water
But we just built that good-God-dam

Oh, and I know this of myself
I assume as much for other people

We’ve listened more to life’s end-gong than
The sound of life’s sweet bells

Was it ever worth it?
Was there all that much to gain?
Well, we knew we’d missed the boat
And we’d already missed the plane
We didn’t read the invite
We just dance at our own wake

Tiny curtain’s open
And we heard the tiny clap of little hands
A tiny man would tell a little joke
And get a tiny laugh from all the folks
Sittin’, driftin’ around in bubbles, and
Thinkin’ it was us that carried them
When we finally got it figured out
That we had truly missed the boat
